Role: Business analyst

Location- Remote

Hrbotics is a manpower company, you will be hired as business analyst on Hrbotics's payroll to work for their perspective client's/customers worldwide.

As a Business solution analyst , you will discover, build and consult fresh top tier potential client base, covering all areas of the business information technology lifecycle across domains. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise on all software solution, design, and delivery methodologies and test processes, you will use your capability to Plan, deploy, and manage the solution effort for any given engagement defining the scope of testing within the context of each release to deliver large scale projects on schedule and to the highest quality

• Perform discovery and build analysis for key emerging businesses in Information technology domain.
• Perform Impact Analysis for Business Requirements, determine requirement assumptions and constraints to
• perform data analysis for integration between the existing or new information systems used.
• Request and load data across different applications using control scripts and scripts-based methods.
• Perform data reconciliation between different application using complex SQL queries and data pipe line mappings
• Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of the progress and challenges and escalating issues where appropriate
• Drive the requirement gathering process for all system enhancements initiatives, establishes and enforces best practices for analysis.
• Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions.
• Work closely with support teams for code migrations and Files submissions for Change implementations, have a hands-on approach to solving problems.
• Automating existing process utilities using Python scripts.

• Must have experience of Writing, modifying Oracle PL/SQL /stored procedures/functions, complex SQL queries, ETL Mappings and Data warehouse concepts
• Working experience on UNIX or Windows batch scripts and Files transfer knowledge on WinSCP or Putty.
• Strong knowledge on Big Data technologies like HIVE, Impala and Spark and able to understand existing eco systems like SCD1 and SCD2.
• Familiarity with and/or demonstrated aptitude to learn Big Data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Hive, Impala)
• Prior experience in reconciliation and data analytics
• Knowledge of multiple automation frameworks (preferably Python based or Database (Hive, Oracle etc) (RPA - not essential)
• Should have prior experience to talk with business stake holder and converting business requirement to technical deliverables.
• Strong knowledge on Python program and reporting tools (Alteryx or Tableau).
• Understanding ITIL processes in a ServiceNow context.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver for multiple stockholder
• Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks that have potential operational risk and p/l impact in an often-high-pressure environment good research and analytical skills combined with a good sense of risk awareness

Responsibilities (how We Will Measure Success)

• Core responsibilities on all aspects of business analyst:
  • Support related activities in gathering requirements and analyse the current processes, metrics to review and propose improvements that will drive efficiencies without impacting or reducing controls in the business.
  • Build new business in the Information technology domain by hunting, researching, connecting and analysis potential businesses all across the world.
  • Conduct the necessary research to understand best practices and emerging trends to enrich solution ideation activities.
  • Communicate between/with business managers and users/clients to understand and document business requirements.
  • Develop process improvement procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Solution Ideation:
  • Participate in gap analysis exercises for new implementations & any bespoke requirements.
  • Work with the operations & development teams to prioritise and implement requirements based on the needs of the business / client.
  • Develop and curate the necessary process and knowledge assets in aid of analysis or as part of solutioning activities.
  • Participate in the ideation of process, product or technical changes to improve user experience, operational efficiencies, including improvement, or automation.
• Engagement Management Support & Project Coordination
  • Prepare communication plans, and draft communication materials for distribution to multiple stakeholders across the group.
  • Coordinate trainings and workshops (including set up training material)
  • Manage reporting to ensure business and management are aware of progress and pipeline.
  • Document and coordinate related activities, facilitate discussions, and ensure that planned actions are being carried on to ensure that efficiency initiatives are to be delivered based on agreed plans
• Adhere to the Change Delivery team’s standard methodology and governance processes including use of approved templates and checklists.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

• Support Information Solutions with regards all prospective projects for the successful development, implementation and roll out as part of the Solutions offering.
• Participate in gap analysis exercises for new implementations & bespoke reporting/dashboard requirements
• Support new client implementations and continuous improvements in regards to the client take on process
• Communicate with client services accountants/analysts and end users to understand and assist in defining detailed business requirements
• Support change management related activities
• Effective and transparent communications ensuring the flow of information to all stakeholders involved.
• Provide ICT enterprise training for any clients or new implementations.
• Support in providing demos to prospects.
• Risk management:
• Ensure an operational resilience exists within Investor Solutions by ensuring the procedures and any be-spoke solutions are documented for Business Continuity
• Supporting testing strategies required to ensure Business Continuity
• Ensure client specific checklists are designed to mitigate functional risks and are constantly reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Liaise with Risk & Compliance contribute in making the overall risk framework stronger for Investor Solutions.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

• 3 to 4 years’ experience of end-to-end solution, project & business management and/or implementations, ideally from SAAS or On-Prem services software company.
• Knowledge of or experience working in a Private Equity / Investor Services, Commerce, Healthcare or Real-Estate industry
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers and suppliers
  • ‘Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
  • Ability to take initiative and self-manage
• Excellent presentation skills, both written and oral
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and MS Viso skills
• Use of Project Management software
• Ability to take a creative approach to resolving a range of issues
• Comfortable of working across diverse jurisdictions
• Excellent knowledge of Enterprise softwares across various industries.

Qualification Criteria

• Degree in business or technical discipline
• Experience of operating within a firm that shares some of the following features:

  • Fast-paced and agile environment
• Degree level qualification
• Prince 2 Certified (preferred but not essential)
• Google Studio, Analytics, OBIEE, Tableau (Nice to have but not essential)
